Evolutionary: A simple design refresh would have been easy, but that's not what this is all about. The all-new XB Evo Hybrid headlights are a showcase of everything Morimoto is made of. From concept to completion. Packed with features that demonstrate a true attention to detail including the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling, these headlights are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium. An all-new Tri-Beam Technology incorporates: 1) An Ishida Type 1 Bi-LED Projector, 2) Side-Specific Low Beam reflector assist and 3) High Beam reflector assist for truly incredible output. Compared to the top-of-the-line XB Evo headlights, the Hybrid model drops the lens heaters, the mode selectors, and the welcome sequence to meet a lower price point.
Maximum Performance: Thanks to an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, the XB Evo Hybrid headlights will meet & exceed the highest standards for headlight performance that are set by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety... which is a tough mark even for most modern luxury automakers. Here, the F-150 Evo Hybrid headlight utilizes Bi-LED projectors (with reflector assist) to deliver unmatched light output, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness. All optics are powered by the latest OE-grade automotive LEDs from Osram.
On Road: The Morimoto XB Evo Hybrid Headlights are DOT compliant with all FMVSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA. Their optics are so capable and efficient that their LEDs are only driven at about 50% of their full potential intensity to avoid exceeding limitations set by compliance. The vertical aim is fully adjustable within +/- 6 degrees for a perfect alignment on any F-150, even with a lift. The system was designed in California by Morimoto's lead optical engineer, Yoshi Ishida, to deliver maximum visibility, comfort, and safety, and that it does.
Off Road: Yes, you read that correctly. Out of the box, the XB Evo Hybrid are only producing a fraction of their potential intensity for compliance reasons. Want more light for your off-road adventures? The optional Supercharged LED driver boosts both low and high beam intensity by approximately 30% - all without sacrificing reliability or warranty. An additional feature is the multi-stage welcome sequence that is "unlocked" with the Supercharged drivers. While the Supercharged drivers easily enable these to outshine every other headlight for the 2021-2023 F-150 on the market, we must reiterate that they will result in non-compliant levels of peak beam intensity and therefore should not be used on public roads.
DRL Optics: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate with special surface textures, which enable maximum intensity from all viewing angles. Easily out-shining low-tech optics found in most every other aftermarket headlight, they also provide a one-off look. The DRL illuminates in a bright white with dim parking light mode, and a bright turn signal using the same optic backed by amber LEDs.
OE Fit & Installation: The XB Evo Hybrid headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free install. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, flickering, flashing, or radio interference. Thoughtfully engineered for modification-free installation. No factory warranties void. No headaches.

When it comes to UV protection, OE Toyota headlights are industry-best, which is why we've formulated a new hard coating that exceeds their standard for resistance against cracking, fading, and yellowing lenses from UV exposure.
